Stephen G. Dent is a licensed CPA and an investment banker who earned his BA and MBA from Harvard University. He is the current president of his own company, Dent Inc., an investment banking firm headquartered in Greenwich, CT. In addition to his job as president, Stephen also manages all of the company’s financial and investment activities.

Before founding his own company, Stephen spent the better part of his business career working for some of the country’s leading financial institutions, and managing various finance and investment projects for high-profile companies. Since 1982, Stephen’s focus has been on the areas finance, investments and acquisitions.Â

Stephen’s career in finance started when he found employment with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he worked for three-years before accepting a position in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co. After working in that department for several years, Stephen moved on to join the private investment group, Rosenkranz & Company, where his primary duty was to manage acquisitions for the company’s own account. In 1986, Stephen left Rosenkranz & Company to form his own firm, Dent Inc.

When he’s not working in the high-pressure world of finance, Stephen enjoys spending time on his lifelong hobby of studying marine life – a hobby that began on a boyhood trip to Hawaii.
